Travel Review --- Miami, Florida

Visiting Miami, Florida was one of the best travel experiences I've had.

First, flying JetBlue was only one of the highlights. This airline is very modern and greatly maintained. The staff is polite and helpful. Very spacious, even for coach. Free accommodations are also provided, a variety of snacks and drinks. Pillows and blankets. Even socks for those who have cold feet when flying. I will definitely be flying with them again in the future.

After I landed I headed straight for my hotel. The Double Tree Hotel. Its no Ritz-Carlton but it can come close. Fast check-in AND free cookies. Spacious rooms, luxury bathrooms, soothing sauna and even an indoor pool. They even have a complimentary breakfast buffet.

Being in Miami has its own reward. With a great nightlife scene, there's always something to do or look forward to. And with the hotel being close distance to the beach is what makes it even better. With many on-the-water activities like water-skiing, para-sailing, boating; and for the children there's scuba diving, snorkeling, and even wind-surfing.

Miami, Florida is the most extraordinary vacation I've had yet.

Restaurant Review --- Olive Garden

Excellent restaurant
Date of Review : May 24, 2011

Fabulous Chicken Alfredo with Parmesan cream sauce and just a touch of garlic. This dish did not have many ingredients but the simplicity of it is what makes it so delicious. The thick cream of the sauce, the slight taste of the garlic and the juicy pieces of chicken strips. Topped of with just a bit of parsley. Very enjoyable dish served in a very modest portion.

Unlimited soup, salad AND breadsticks put it over-the-top. The many ingredients of the salad perfectly complimented the garlic breadsticks. And the soup was simply remarkable.

Exceptional dessert selection. The Black Tie Mousse Cake is phenomenal. The perfect combination of cheesecake and chocolate cake. With a Hershey Kiss Crust.

Fine beverage selection.

Great, friendly, skilled service. Beautiful decor. Family-oriented but also perfect for a date. Overall the best dining experience I've ever had.

FOUR STARS!

Visited Blogs

Shayaa Abdus Samad---His blog is original and his topics range from the most simplest things the most disturbing. I especially liked the Flow of Consciencness blog.

Bibi Badrideen---Her blog mostly relates to love and how to be in a relationship. You can tell she's in love or been in love. She has very sound advice.

Fatima Baines---Her blog is very simplistic. It gets straight to the point about how she feels on a certain subject. But I feel she could add a little more details.

Denzel Barret---No recent posts.

Andray Bramwell---He has A LOT of swag (what a male ego!) and you can tell by his blog and how he writes. I like his poetry.

Claribel Checo---Her blog really caught my eye, especially with the bright colors and lot of pictues. She has a lot to say and a lot on her mind, but watch out for grammar though.

Clarissa Checo---You can tell her and her sister are really close.

Amber Clarke---She only had one recent post but that one post was very interesting.

Chavaughn Cox---No recent posts.

Tashawna Dallas---One of the few blogs I actually took the time out to read. I really like her posts and her voice.

Shanice Davy---The variety is nice to read and you make sure to state your opinions about everything.

Ruthnie Degand---She has good topics but put more detail in them.

Tiffany Evans---Another one of the few blogs that I actually read. I especially like her blog on Natural Beauty. She has a really clear point of view on things.

Tierra Green---I didn't know LisaRaye McCoy was gonna star in a new show. Thanks for the heads up but she could expand a little more.

Tuesdae Imperial---She has a unique blog. Her post on 3D art was entriely different and completely cool.

Jessica Lopez---Great post. Her personality is shown through her blogs. More details though.

Sarah-Michelle Louis---Do I really have to critique my own blog? =?

Shanice Lynch---No recent posts.

A-Dale Matthews---I pretty much only read the poetry part but the writers he uses are most of my favorite. Very unique, but whats UFC?

Andrea Maniram---No recent posts.

Natural Parker---I'm kinda scared to try eyebrow threading now and I thought Amber Rose was Wiz Khalifa's girlfriend but your posts were pretty good. You should post more blogs though.

Chavonne Parkes---I can tell her blog she has a passion for fashion. I like how she compares the most extravagant (Princess Diana) to the most heart-touching (cigarette dress) pieces.

Anthony Persaud---Why so serious? Tech is interesting but make it a little more light. Very informative though.

Katherine Ramirez---She could write more blogs and expand her thoughts a little more.

Alexandra Rodriguez---One of the best blogs I've read. No commentary. keep up the good work.

Danielle Staz---She needs to expand the topics. I found it repetitive of you talking about the month of May. Try and connect and make longer posts.

Mudhu Sharma---She had all her blogs but was lacking a certain interest. Try to write a different variety of topics.

Dejon Spears---A big sports fanatic. Write more about the playoffs and how the Heats are taking it all!

Jermain Trim---He has a lot of recent news topics. Its good to be informed with whats going on in the outside world.

Amina Zafar---Write more and expand. I did ejoy reading about your cultures weddings though.

Friends?

What does it really mean to be "friends?" The dictionary defines it as a person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard. But there can be many different types of friendships; there can be friends with benefits, which happens a lot in high school, back-up friends, those people who you hang out with when your main friends aren't there, which I'm pretty sure everybody has. There are best friends, the ones who are ALWAYS there for you and then there are just people you talk to which I just consider acquaintances. But the question is "Do you really know who your REAL friends are?" As a teenager I think thats the "age-old" question. In high school there are backstabbers, two-faced people, liars, fakes and drama queens; trying to seperate yourself from them can be kinda difficult because when you first meet people they never show thier true colors. But most fake friends are easy to notice, if they always let you do something stupid, don't care about your opinion, complain about everything, and hate to see you happy. You always have to watch your back, in high school and in life. SimplyPut...Keep Your Friends Close And Your Enemies Closer.

1st Dates

There comes a time in everyones life where the 1st date comes and sneaks up on you. And on that day your freaking out wondering what to wear, how to act and thinking how the nights gonna go. The best part is that there are rules to the 1st date that should hep things run along smoothly. But I believe that the 'rules' apply differently in high school. I pretty much have only one rule, be yourself. It screams cliche but its also the truth. I mean he already asked you out so obviously he already likes you and its just high school. We have the rest of our lives to go on our 1st date over and over again. But the thing is, its never with someone you expected it to be with. It could be the nerdy kid who always has his nose in a book, or the most popular guy with the most insecurites. I think 1st dates are all about taking chances with the most random most unexpected person. SimplyPut...Love Is All About Risks And It Requires You To Jump.

Crushes

I remember when I was back in middle school and I started looking at one of my guy friends in a totally new perspective. And I sorta liked it, he made me laugh and made my tummy do little somersaults, I realized that I had a crush on him. The dictionary defines a crush as a special feeling you have for another person. Sometimes feelings for a crush can be confusing because its all new and your not sure how to act. You wanna act all girly and flirty and fun but I think that the worst thing for you to do. It sounds very cliche and used but the best thing to do is to be yourself because thats the person gonna like not the person you try to be. Its funny how people act around their crush, they want them to have all their attention or act aloof as if they want to leave them wondering, or even writing their name all over your notebooks and papers. Its fun having a crush but you have to be aware so you dont get crushed by your crush. Thats the worst part in all of it. If they like someone else or just wanna be friends, you end feeling depressed and rejected and heartbroken, but those feelings will pass, especially if you have great friends ad family on your side.
